Sumitomo Electric Carbide, Inc. is hiring a CNC Milling Machine Operator

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machinery for operations including milling, drilling, and tapping
  • Identify appropriate tooling and follow established procedures to meet specified tolerances
  • Follow standard programming codes and operational instructions to install tools and position workpieces
  • Monitor work at defined stages; make adjustments to machine settings and fixtures to maintain quality and precision
  • Use part blueprints and precision measurement tools to inspect and verify work output
  • Detect and report equipment issues, tool failures, or operational irregularities
  • Support setup processes for machines under guidance
  • Perform assigned tasks under supervision with regular quality checks and reviews
