Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery for operations including milling, drilling, and tapping
- Identify appropriate tooling and follow established procedures to meet specified tolerances
- Follow standard programming codes and operational instructions to install tools and position workpieces
- Monitor work at defined stages; make adjustments to machine settings and fixtures to maintain quality and precision
- Use part blueprints and precision measurement tools to inspect and verify work output
- Detect and report equipment issues, tool failures, or operational irregularities
- Support setup processes for machines under guidance
- Perform assigned tasks under supervision with regular quality checks and reviews
