1103 Team Member Services is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Behavioral Health team on night shifts. You will provide patient-centered care that respects each individual's age, mobility, acuity, and culture, supporting our mission to uplift others in body, mind, and spirit.
What You'll Do
- Provide patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture, performing treatments according to policy and procedure.
- Function effectively in clinical emergencies.
- Participate in practice changes from performance improvement activities and support quality standards.
- Follow isolation guidelines, use protective equipment appropriately, perform handwashing per policy, and enforce safety regulations.
- Continuously upgrade skills and exhibit a desire to learn.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist in the delivery of patient care as a team member under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Document and report all procedures in accordance with department policy.
- Participate in obtaining nursing histories and report abnormalities to the registered nurse.
- Assist in identifying patient needs.
What We're Looking For
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS).
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) OR Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) OR Emergency Medical Tech Certification (EMT).
Nice to Have
- 1+ year of applicable Patient Care Technician experience.
- Previous bedside patient care in an acute care unit, unit secretary, monitor technician, or equivalent medical experience.
