SONDA is hiring a Cloud Solutions Architect

SONDA is looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, while managing costs and automating processes. In this hands-on role, you will work across multi-cloud environments, containerization, data platforms, and infrastructure as code to support our technological infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure solutions following the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Create cost estimates and optimize AWS spending using FinOps principles.
• Automate CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Implement containerization solutions using Amazon EKS and ECS.
• Develop data solutions using AWS Glue, Redshift, and Kinesis.
• Create and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Implement monitoring solutions with CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Manage security and access control with IAM, Security Groups, and AWS WAF.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience planning, designing, and overseeing Private and Public cloud computing technology infrastructure systems.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code, DevOps, container orchestration, cloud databases, networking, security, monitoring, and solution architecture.
• Knowledge of Linux, network and SDN, storage and SDS, security, and container virtualization.
• Broad experience in Multi-cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Mastery of GitHub.
• Experience with automation services, API integration of IT infrastructure resources, GitOps, ArgoCD, DevOps CI/CD, and cloud computing.
• Knowledge of Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Ansible, Terraform, and languages JavaScript, Shell, and Python.
• Knowledge of workflows in Git repositories, Tags, and Semantic Versioning.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Holistic understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to dynamic environments (Agile Methods, Microsoft ADS).

Nice to Have

• AWS Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS Security Specialist).
