About the Role
The engineer will manage cloud systems, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement automation to enhance service delivery and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and system health
- Respond to incidents and resolve critical production issues
- Implement and maintain automation scripts for operational tasks
- Support deployment of cloud-based applications and services
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability
- Maintain documentation for configurations and procedures
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards
- Perform root cause analysis on system failures
- Optimize resource utilization in cloud environments
- Manage access controls and identity management systems
- Deploy and configure monitoring and alerting tools
- Participate in on-call rotation for incident response
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives
- Work with third-party vendors and cloud providers
- Contribute to capacity planning and scalability assessments
- Implement best practices for cloud security and operations
- Track and report on system uptime and performance metrics
- Assist in migration of services to cloud platforms
- Enforce change management processes for infrastructure updates
- Evaluate new technologies for operational improvements
Nice to Have
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems
- Background in security operations or compliance
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools
- Experience with database administration
- Familiarity with SaaS operations

- Prior work in a 24/7 operations environment
