Jobgether is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain a lean, secure, and scalable multi-cloud environment for mission-critical applications. You will collaborate closely with software engineers to enhance the developer experience and ensure reliable production operations.
What You'll Do
- Operate and maintain cloud infrastructure across GCP and Hetzner, including Kubernetes clusters like GKE and Rancher.
- Manage core infrastructure components within Kubernetes, such as Hashicorp Vault, Redis, and NGINX Ingress.
- Monitor system health using Grafana dashboards and alerts to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Enhance security by implementing refined authorization, network segmentation, and data encryption strategies.
- Collaborate with software engineers to improve developer workflows under a you build it, you run it mindset.
- Continuously identify opportunities for infrastructure improvement, including cost optimization, enhanced monitoring, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a major cloud provider.
- Strong growth mindset, resilience, and a proactive approach to solving challenges.
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, multicultural, and agile environment.
- Flexibility to manage occasional deployments outside of core working hours.
- Eagerness to learn, openness to feedback, and the ability to adapt in fast-changing environments.
