Alan is looking for a Platform Engineer (x/f/m) to join our Global Architecture team. Your mission is to enable global-first product development by transforming country-specific codebases into elegant, global, and configurable modules. You'll design cross-cutting solutions, remove technical blockers for product teams, and orchestrate data transformations across different markets.

What You'll Do

Design cross-cutting modules by transforming country-specific implementations into elegant global components.
Remove technical blockers for product teams that cut across several domains, eliminating the need for team-specific workarounds.
Orchestrate data transformations to harmonize different countries' data models without losing local flexibility.
Build and own the entire lifecycle of your solutions, from initial design through long-term maintenance.
Learn and share globalization patterns with other teams to help them make better decisions about global vs. local solutions.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience as a problem-solver engineer.
Ability to write code and maintain what you build (no architects in an ivory tower).
Ability to navigate complex systems spanning multiple business domains and technical boundaries.
Experience with diverse architectural patterns and ability to articulate nuanced trade-offs.
Ability to spot technical obstacles blocking multiple teams and design solutions to remove them.
Well-versed in Object Oriented Programming (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
Enthusiastic about web technologies such as modern Javascript.
Willing to work in Python/JavaScript.
Passionate about building products.
Self-starting and entrepreneurial.
Humble and still willing to grow.
Collaborative, enthusiastic about teamwork, learning, and teaching.
Fluent in English.
