OpenText is hiring a Cloud Applications Consultant to provide technical and consultative assistance implementing our Documentum product suite for customers worldwide. You will understand customer requirements, conduct detailed technical design, and perform installation, development, integration, and administration.
What You'll Do
- Represent OpenText professionally to customers, partners, and colleagues.
- Support the engagement delivery manager, communicating status and proactively identifying issues.
- Establish relationships with client technical counterparts and participate in solution scoping and planning meetings.
- Perform installation, development, configuration, integration, administration, and testing activities.
- Prepare and maintain activity, progress, and time management reports, keeping delivery managers informed.
- Provide knowledge transfer, training, and mentoring to team members and authorized customer personnel.
- Adhere to processes and methodologies, reporting deviations and recommending improvements.
- Acquire OpenText Proven Certification in Documentum Content Management, administration, and development.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent grasp of Enterprise Content Management systems principles.
- Experience with Documentum D2LS and the life sciences domain.
- Exposure to the Documentum Suite: Content Server, D2, Webtop DFS, DFC, BOF, WDK, DQL, Documentum Administrator, Tomcat, Xplore, CTS.
- Proficiency in Documentum administration and maintenance activities.
- Ability to participate in day-to-day system administration, including Incident & Problem Management.
- Experience contributing to change and release management processes.
- Exposure to programming using Core Java and DFC.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, Web Services, LDAP configuration, and RDBMS concepts.
- Working knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with geographically distributed teams.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
