As a Clinical Workflow Manager in bioprocessing, you will drive the adoption of advanced technologies by collaborating with biotech and pharmaceutical customers across Germany. Your focus will be on identifying and securing technical specifications for molecules in preclinical through Phase 2 development, ensuring alignment with evolving process requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships within assigned customer segments by identifying and qualifying specification opportunities through proactive outreach.
- Assess customer needs with an emphasis on early-stage molecules, applying a workflow-based approach to support process development goals.
- Gain in-depth insight into customer pipelines, strategic priorities, and operational constraints to guide effective solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in process development, providing technical leadership internally and during customer engagements.
- Develop and execute strategic workflow plans to secure platform positions and expand the breadth of integrated solutions.
- Coordinate with Sales Specialists, Account Managers, and Field Application Scientists to deliver comprehensive technical support.
- Initiate and track Design-In projects using Salesforce (SFDC), ensuring accurate documentation and follow-through.
- Enable cross-functional collaboration across modalities and business units to address complex customer challenges throughout the sales cycle.
- Share market intelligence, including competitive dynamics and emerging needs, to inform product and strategy development.
- Identify next-generation process development opportunities, monitor at-risk platforms, and support retention strategies with account teams.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold an MS or PhD in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related field, along with 5–7 years of experience in commercial or applications roles within the biotech or life sciences industry. Direct experience in upstream and downstream process development is essential, as is familiarity with sales methodologies and prospecting techniques. A solid grasp of regulated environments is preferred.
