Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) was looking for a Clinical Trial Central Screener

Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) is hiring a Clinical Trial Central Screener (CTCS) to provide centralized clinical support for patient screening across our network of community-based oncology practices. You will partner with multiple SCRI departments to streamline clinical trial patient identification, conduct remote chart reviews, and enhance our precision medicine platform.

What You'll Do

  • Provide clinical support for the central screening process for clinical trials.
  • Serve as a liaison between SCRI network sites and the Personalized Medicine Operations team to provide feedback and improve processes and tools.
  • Aid in the enhancement of SCRI’s precision medicine software platform, Genospace, to more efficiently match patients to clinical trials.
  • Escalate appropriate issues to your supervisor to enable timely resolution during the screening process.
  • Support the deployment, training, and utilization of Genospace at SCRI network sites.
  • Lead and facilitate routine internal and external cross-functional meetings.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships across the organization.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or current Registered Nurse licensure.
  • 3+ years of experience as a research nurse.
  • Proven experience in clinical trials.
  • Must be able to read a clinical research protocol and match patients to a protocol.
  • Strong knowledge and ability to interpret clinical research protocols.
  • Experience in a clinical setting analyzing patient charts.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a clinical research environment (within a SMO, CRO, sponsor, or site).
  • A deep understanding of the oncology clinical research setting.

You will partner with various SCRI departments including Personalized Medicine, Genospace, Therapeutic Development, and Research Operations.
