About the Role

The Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) is hiring a Clinical Supervisor. In this remote, full-time, salaried position, you will be responsible for all clinical aspects of treatment for a caseload of patients, from assessment through caregiver training. You will join a well-established, mission-driven leader in the field, where your skills are valued in a collaborative, dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

  • Use clinical judgment to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop, maintain, and update treatment plans at least once per month based on patient response.
  • Evaluate patients to identify skill deficits, strengths, and analyze the function of challenging behaviors.
  • Develop functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Observe treatment implementation for potential program revisions and monitor treatment integrity.
  • Direct, coach, and train behavior technicians in implementing protocols.
  • Summarize and analyze data to evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment.
  • Maintain a caseload of 12-18 patients and fulfill 120+ billable hours monthly.
  • Ensure 100% treatment adherence for all supervision hours each month.
  • Accurately communicate treatment response to stakeholders (caregivers, payers) and coordinate care with other professionals.
  • Administer, complete, and score standardized assessments.
  • Include caregivers as part of the treatment team via consistent meetings.
  • Interact professionally with payers for funding meetings (IEP, peer reviews).
  • Stay current on best practices for ABA treatment to ensure clinical excellence.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation in Skills and the patient’s medical record.
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements at all times.
  • Partner consistently with other center leadership.
  • Manage employer and patient property.

What We're Looking For

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field.
  • Certification as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Ability to pass a tuberculosis test if required by funders.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

You will report to the Group Clinical Manager and work within a culture of collaboration and open communication.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary range: $65,000 - $115,000

Work Mode

This is a fully remote, salaried, exempt position requiring a high level of self-discipline and accountability. Candidates must be based in the Sacramento, California area.
