Medtronic's Neuroscience Portfolio is seeking a Clinical Specialist – Pelvic Health for the Augusta, GA territory. In this field-based, remote role, you will provide clinical support and education for our Pelvic Health therapies, working directly with surgeons and healthcare teams in multiple accounts.
What You'll Do
- Represent Medtronic Neuromodulation during surgeries and implants by providing all necessary equipment and products.
- Demonstrate expertise in implant procedures, follow-up support, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters relating to products and therapies.
- Proactively identify needs and teach a broad level of caregivers and account employees.
- Assist in the education and training of new district employees.
- Provide sales support by completing necessary documentation and executing invoices.
- Maintain current knowledge of assigned products, services, and competitive products.
- Contribute to the completion of milestones for regional and/or national projects.
- Maintain open communication with district personnel, customers, and other Medtronic employees.
- Follow all work and quality procedures to ensure system compliance and high-quality work.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED AND a minimum of 6 years of patient care/clinical experience; OR
- Associate’s Degree AND a minimum of 4 years of patient care/clinical experience; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree AND a minimum of 2 years of patient care/clinical experience.
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy.
- Ability to drive approximately 50% of the time within assigned territory; overnight travel may be required.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
- Clinical skill and knowledge (e.g., ability to conduct a simple trial, implant and/or refill a pump).
- Clinical experience with implantable Neuromodulation products and stim experience.
- Experience in servicing medical personnel on product use.
- Experience working with a medical device or pharmaceutical company.
- Clinical experience in a specialty area: urology, surgical, RN, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedic, operating room, or home health care.
- Ability to communicate effectively with sales and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to coach others on product use and clinical applications.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Preference given to qualified local candidates and those with Medtronic experience.
