Philips is hiring a Clinical Solutions Specialist - Patient Monitoring (Field: Upstate NY)

About the Role

As a Clinical Solutions Specialist in Patient Monitoring, you will play a key role in guiding healthcare teams through the successful implementation and optimization of advanced monitoring technologies. Leveraging your clinical nursing background, you will consult directly with hospital staff to assess workflows, identify education needs, and tailor system configurations to support patient care goals.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a clinical expert for patient monitoring systems, supporting customers from planning through go-live and beyond
  • Collaborate with sales, project management, and service teams to align technical capabilities with clinical needs
  • Assess clinical workflows and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency and patient outcomes
  • Design and deliver customized training programs for clinical staff, ensuring effective use of monitoring applications
  • Support initial system use and promote sustained adoption of new practices
  • Troubleshoot clinical and technical challenges, applying in-depth knowledge of monitoring systems and informatics
  • Travel extensively across Upstate NY, spending up to 90% of time in the field with regular hospital site visits

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital setting
  • Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent RN licensure with active, verifiable credentials
  • Ability to work in both remote and clinical environments, including wearing required personal protective equipment
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours based on customer needs
  • Residency within commuting distance of Buffalo, Rochester, or Syracuse, NY
  • Valid U.S. work authorization required
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including overnight stays and air or ground transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience delivering clinical education or adult training programs
  • Background in critical care areas such as ICU, ER, OR, NICU, or PICU
  • Familiarity with Philips IntelliVue monitoring systems
  • CTT+ or VCTT+ certification
