About the Role
The Clinical Research Coordinator I assists in the coordination and execution of clinical research protocols in radiation oncology, ensuring adherence to institutional and federal guidelines while supporting patient safety and data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and submitting IRB applications and regulatory documentation
- Recruit and screen potential study participants according to protocol criteria
- Obtain informed consent from research subjects in compliance with ethical standards
- Schedule and coordinate participant visits and study procedures
- Collect, record, and manage clinical data with accuracy and confidentiality
- Monitor study timelines and ensure protocol adherence across research activities
- Maintain up-to-date regulatory binders and study records
- Collaborate with research team members to resolve data discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
- Track adverse events and report them according to protocol requirements
- Interact with healthcare providers to gather medical information for studies
- Enter data into electronic databases and verify for completeness
- Support audit readiness and assist during monitoring visits
- Attend team meetings and contribute to study planning discussions
- Stay current with changes in research regulations and institutional policies
