About the Role

The Clinical Research Coordinator I assists in the coordination and execution of clinical research protocols in radiation oncology, ensuring adherence to institutional and federal guidelines while supporting patient safety and data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and submitting IRB applications and regulatory documentation
  • Recruit and screen potential study participants according to protocol criteria
  • Obtain informed consent from research subjects in compliance with ethical standards
  • Schedule and coordinate participant visits and study procedures
  • Collect, record, and manage clinical data with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Monitor study timelines and ensure protocol adherence across research activities
  • Maintain up-to-date regulatory binders and study records
  • Collaborate with research team members to resolve data discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
  • Track adverse events and report them according to protocol requirements
  • Interact with healthcare providers to gather medical information for studies
  • Enter data into electronic databases and verify for completeness
  • Support audit readiness and assist during monitoring visits
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to study planning discussions
  • Stay current with changes in research regulations and institutional policies
