The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is hiring a Clinical Research Coordinator I. In this role, you will screen participants, maintain detailed participant-level documentation, and manage recruitment and retention. You will also be responsible for collecting, preparing, processing, and shipping research specimens, serving as the coordinator for studies and providing support to other team members.
What You'll Do
- Serve as coordinator for studies and provide support to other team members within the confines of the protocol as directed.
- Support screening and participant eligibility determination, working with more senior team members to ensure compliance.
- Conduct activities in accordance with the protocol, regulations, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Assist with the study life cycle from start-up to closure by collecting and recording data, recruiting and performing follow-up with participants, and scheduling visits.
- Assist in coordination of lab and fieldwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A High School diploma or GED.

This position works within the Department of Medicine, Nephrology division.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $43,890 - $71,320.
