Role Overview
This position focuses on advancing clinical research by managing participant recruitment from initial contact through enrollment. The recruiter develops targeted materials, conducts outreach in both clinical and community settings, and ensures all activities align with study guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Create recruitment content tailored to specific study requirements
- Prepare and distribute study documentation for participants and staff
- Support the design and implementation of surveys and data collection tools
- Conduct in-person, phone, or virtual interviews to gather participant information
- Use systems such as OnCore, Greenphire, and Oracle for data entry and tracking
- Provide clear explanations of study goals and procedures to potential participants
- Perform preliminary eligibility assessments and support consent processes
- Maintain updated referral networks with local clinics and medical providers
- Coordinate screening appointments and send follow-up reminders
- Address participant questions and escalate concerns to supervising staff
- Build relationships with community organizations to expand outreach
- Represent studies at internal meetings and national investigator conferences
- Collaborate on marketing strategies and performance tracking for recruitment campaigns
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required. Experience in healthcare or research settings is beneficial. Familiarity with clinical data platforms is essential.
