About the Role
The position involves coordinating daily operations of clinical research studies, including participant recruitment, scheduling, data collection, and regulatory compliance, while collaborating with research staff and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day activities of clinical research protocols
- Recruit and screen potential study participants according to inclusion criteria
- Obtain informed consent from research subjects in compliance with ethical standards
- Schedule and conduct study visits and follow-ups
- Collect, record, and manage clinical data with accuracy and confidentiality
- Ensure adherence to study protocols and standard operating procedures
- Maintain detailed research records and source documentation
- Monitor participant safety and report adverse events as required
- Collaborate with principal investigators and research team members
- Interact with participants and their families to explain study procedures
- Administer assessments and study-related instruments
- Track study progress and maintain timelines for milestones
- Prepare materials and documentation for Institutional Review Board submissions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations
- Perform data entry and assist with quality control checks
- Coordinate with laboratories and external vendors for specimen handling
- Manage study supplies and equipment inventory
- Participate in audits and regulatory inspections
- Assist in the development of study manuals and training materials
- Support grant preparation and progress reporting activities
