The Clinical Reporting Nurse is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and relevant clinical information, reports, and data to the Department of Home Affairs and other stakeholders regarding individuals in detention facilities and community residences. This fully remote, 12-month fixed-term role with Healthcare Australia supports transparency, compliance, and high standards of client care by identifying and escalating concerns promptly to ensure quality outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Delivering accurate, timely, and up-to-date information, reports, and data, ensuring all outputs meet required standards.
- Responding promptly to enquiries and working collaboratively to resolve matters.
- Fostering strong partnerships that support smooth and efficient operations.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of services by identifying and escalating issues or concerns to the appropriate teams.
- Maintaining effective relationships through clear, consistent, and professional communication with the Department of Home Affairs and other stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Hold a Bachelor of Nursing.
- Have current, unconditional AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
- Have a minimum of three years’ clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Possess strong clinical knowledge.
- Have well-developed analytical, reporting, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Be able to clearly present written medical and clinical information to non-medical audiences.
- Have strong communication skills, including excellent verbal and written proficiency.
- Have an understanding of politically sensitive health services.
- Be able to operate with discretion and professionalism.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Have an appropriate home set-up including a reliable internet connection.
