Role Overview
Provide specialized tele-mental health services as part of a focused suicide care program, delivering therapy through secure video platforms. This position supports a mission-driven effort to expand access to life-saving psychological care using proven clinical models.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 10–15 hours of weekly direct patient care via telehealth, primarily during afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Conduct initial assessments and guide patients through a structured 12-week therapy protocol delivered remotely
- Complete training in standardized suicide risk assessment and intervention procedures, then apply them consistently in practice
- Administer required clinical screenings and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Use electronic health systems efficiently to document sessions, manage patient data, and support continuity of care
Licensing and Experience
- Hold an active, unrestricted license to practice psychology (PhD or PsyD) in good standing, with no disciplinary history
- Possess current PSYPACT authorization for multi-state practice
- Demonstrate prior experience implementing evidence-based interventions for suicide prevention
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and care teams, both verbally and in written form
Work Environment and Technical Requirements
- Work remotely from a private, secure home office with reliable high-speed internet
- Use agency-provided technology, including an Apple laptop, and navigate EHR platforms such as NextGen and Google Suite
- Maintain professional standards in appearance and documentation to ensure patient trust and regulatory compliance
- Adhere to HIPAA requirements for data security and patient confidentiality
