Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora (Southern Region) is seeking a Clinical Physiologist for a permanent, full-time role. You will deliver essential diagnostic and clinical physiology services within a collaborative, interprofessional environment that directly supports patient care and population health.
What You'll Do
- Deliver essential diagnostic and clinical physiology services that directly support patient care and population health.
- Work within a collaborative, interprofessional environment, partnering closely with health professionals, patients, whānau and communities.
- Undertake a range of non-invasive diagnostic procedures within your specialty area (Cardiac, Respiratory, Sleep, Neurology or Renal).
- Contribute to service improvement, evidence-based practice, and the ongoing development of both you and the wider team.
What We're Looking For
- A relevant postgraduate qualification in Medical Technology.
- Current professional registration and Annual Practising Certificate.
- At least two years’ experience working in clinical physiology within your specialty area.
- Strong clinical, diagnostic and analytical skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
- A positive, proactive approach with strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
Team & Environment
You will join the Allied Health, Scientific and Technical workforce within the Medicine, Womens and Childrens Directorate.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary between Step 1 ($77,087 p.a) and Step 8 ($110,210 p.a pro rata) of the Degree-Based Allied, Public Health and Technical scale.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position based in Dunedin.
