Responsibilities
- Enhance and refine clinical procedures to improve experiences for both care providers and patients
- Achieve proficiency in electronic health record platforms and internal systems to support efficient clinical operations
- Review, track, and evaluate incoming laboratory results on a daily basis, escalating concerns as needed
- Partner with external vendors to facilitate access to laboratory and diagnostic imaging services
- Manage incoming clinic phone communications, addressing inquiries from patients, clinicians, labs, and pharmacies
- Coordinate with pharmacy, insurance, and enterprise partners to resolve complex patient or partner-related issues
- Participate in on-call rotations to monitor the Critical Lab Phone Line, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Initiate and prepare prior authorization documentation for medical services
- Process and transmit electronic medical record requests promptly and accurately
- Perform additional clinical and administrative tasks as necessary to support operational needs
