Dexcom Corporation was looking for a Clinical Implementation Specialist - London & South East (Mid and South Essex/Cambridge and Peterborough/London North East, North Central, North West)

This role is for a registered healthcare professional who will serve as a clinical expert in Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) technology, delivering hands-on training and support across primary and secondary care settings in London and the South East. You will work directly with diabetes teams, patients, and carers to ensure safe, effective use of CGM systems, focusing on clinical outcomes and sustainable integration into care pathways.

What You'll Do

  • Support patients during CGM initiation, including sensor application, data interpretation, and troubleshooting
  • Train healthcare professionals to confidently guide patients and continue education independently
  • Deliver clinical education in person and virtually during clinics, follow-ups, and team meetings
  • Act as a clinical resource on CGM indications, device metrics like Time in Range, and interpretation of glucose data
  • Collaborate with internal teams to relay real-world insights and support product improvements
  • Develop and present educational materials, workshops, and training sessions for clinical audiences
  • Support new healthcare sites adopting CGM with onboarding, education, and implementation
  • Ensure all clinical activities align with regulatory standards, company policies, and professional guidelines

Requirements

  • Registered healthcare professional (e.g., Nurse, Diabetes Specialist Nurse, Dietitian) with active clinical registration
  • Diploma-level education or higher, with evidence of degree-level study preferred
  • Minimum of three years in patient-focused diabetes care
  • Strong understanding of CGM systems and glucose data analysis
  • Proficiency with digital tools including webinars, Teams, and clinical documentation platforms
  • Valid UK driving licence and ability to travel regularly within the region
  • Right to work in the UK without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with diabetes technologies such as CGM, insulin pumps, or hybrid closed-loop systems
  • Background in medical devices, digital health, or clinical education
  • Postgraduate certification or training in diabetes management
  • Experience facilitating group education or structured diabetes programs
