Medtronic is hiring a Clinical Consultant II, Enabling Technologies to provide critical clinical, technical, and product knowledge support for our NeuroSurgery, Navigation, and Robotic Assisted Surgery portfolio. This field-based role serves customers in the Inland Empire, Anaheim, and North Orange County area, building relationships, providing training, and ensuring optimal system performance through technical support and maintenance.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate, support, and collaborate with NRCs and team members for on-site system installations.
- Represent Medtronic during technology-enabled procedures to provide technical assistance.
- Maintain system hardware and software, performing preventative maintenance and installing upgrades.
- Provide telephone clinical support and act as the primary customer liaison for repair and technical issues.
- Use UNIX/LINUX commands to modify operating files and fulfill service contract obligations.
- Educate and train physicians and hospital staff on technical matters and new applications.
- Provide training resources for hospital staff and continually train fellow Clinical Support team members.
- Work with sales teams to identify prospective new users for Navigation and Robotics.
- Report customer concerns, complaints, and market opportunities to the district team.
- Adhere to company policies and conduct all business in an ethical manner.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience.
- OR an Associate Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- OR a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy.
- Ability to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory, with potential overnight travel.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, reach, and use hands for typical job functions, with normal vision.
Nice to Have
- RT and/or MRI certification.
- Prior experience with Image Guided Systems and MRI.
- Operating room experience.
- Local qualified candidates and those with prior Medtronic experience.

This is a field-based role requiring local travel within the assigned territory of the Inland Empire, Anaheim, and North Orange County.
