Medtronic is hiring a Clinical Consultant II, Enabling Technologies - Inland Empire / Anaheim / North Orange County

About the Role

This role is responsible for delivering clinical expertise and education to ensure proper implementation and utilization of medical devices, supporting healthcare providers in optimizing patient outcomes through technology-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinical training to healthcare professionals on device operation and integration into practice
  • Support the adoption of new technologies in clinical environments
  • Collaborate with sales and clinical teams to address customer needs
  • Conduct in-service demonstrations for medical staff
  • Troubleshoot technical and clinical issues during device use
  • Gather and report field feedback to improve product support
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
  • Assist in the development of training materials and resources
  • Participate in pre- and post-sales clinical support activities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant medical procedures and technologies
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding clinical applications
  • Support product launches with on-site clinical expertise
  • Monitor clinical outcomes related to device usage
  • Coordinate with internal teams to escalate technical concerns
  • Promote best practices in device utilization
  • Conduct follow-up visits to assess ongoing clinical needs
  • Document clinical support activities and outcomes
  • Serve as a clinical resource during complex case procedures
  • Engage with key opinion leaders in clinical settings
  • Support quality improvement initiatives related to device use
  • Maintain accurate records of training and support sessions
  • Stay current with regulatory and clinical guidelines
  • Assist in clinical validation of new features or products
  • Facilitate communication between clinicians and technical teams
  • Promote patient safety through proper device application
