Lead the expansion of AI-powered precision medicine by building strategic relationships with major cancer centers, academic medical institutions, and top oncology practices across the assigned territory. As a Clinical Account Executive, you will identify collaboration opportunities, negotiate contracts, and guide clients through the adoption of advanced molecular diagnostic solutions integrated with cloud-based data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to acquire and retain high-impact healthcare clients
- Negotiate payer-aligned billing agreements and implement laboratory service contracts with institutional partners
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership at client organizations, aligning clinical needs with technology-enabled insights
- Drive adoption of web-based molecular data tools, ensuring compliance and optimal utilization
- Analyze market dynamics and competitive trends to inform sales strategy and internal feedback loops
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across sales and operations to meet organizational objectives
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of oncology therapeutics, reimbursement landscapes, and diagnostic innovation
- Use Salesforce.com effectively for pipeline management and performance tracking
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in life sciences, biology, business, or marketing, and bring at least three years of account management experience in molecular diagnostics or a related field. Proven success selling into large health systems, oncology group purchasing organizations, and academic cancer centers is essential. Experience negotiating contracts at the C-suite level and a solid grasp of MolDx and SaaS-based diagnostic platforms are required.
Advanced presentation, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities are critical. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems is expected. Frequent travel—exceeding 50%—is necessary to support client engagement across the region. An MBA is a plus.
Compensation & Work Environment
This hybrid-position involves regular travel within the territory, with flexibility based on client needs. Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $95,000 to $150,000 (varies by location), incentive pay, and restricted stock units. Medical and ancillary benefits are provided.
