Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Client Sales Specialist, Cloud Service Providers – Hunter. This role is a pure hunter position focused on acquiring new business and driving revenue growth specifically within the Cloud Service Provider segment. You will prospect, build relationships, and close deals, with a strong emphasis on outbound sales activities and building a robust pipeline of new leads. You will own overall account responsibility for pipeline and forecasting, executing against both growth and profitability goals across HPE's portfolio.
What You'll Do

- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key influencers and decision-makers, understanding customer IT and business objectives to align HPE solutions.
- Engage and cultivate executive (C-Level) relationships.
- Build and execute plans to drive growth and profitability, identify opportunities, lead pipeline building, and drive deals to closure through multi-disciplinary teams.
- Apply knowledge of the AI market landscape and experience selling HPE HPC/AI solutions to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Develop and govern partner relationships to maximize HPE's presence in accounts.
- Lead the extended account team, providing feedback and guidance to ensure successful sales engagements.
- Orchestrate resources for account pursuits, acting as quarterback.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically, 6-10+ years of account management experience in the IT industry.
- Understanding and experience selling HPE AI products and solutions.
- 2+ years of hunting net new logos.
- Strong understanding of IT trends and HPE's portfolio.
- Strong understanding of AI trends and HPE's AI portfolio.
- Proven ability to deliver on sales objectives and close complex deals.
- Skilled in articulating a vision aligned with HPE's strategy.
- Experienced in leading teams in a complex matrix organization.
- Successful track record: delivering against revenue goals and quota attainment.
- Must be a US citizen.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of the Cloud Service Provider landscape.
- Preference for candidate to be in the Bay Area.
