REE Medical is hiring a Client Review Manager to lead a remote team overseeing Disability Profile Assessments, call activity, and Veteran communication. In this role, you will drive results, develop employees, improve processes, and collaborate across departments to ensure accurate documentation, efficient throughput, and a high-quality Veteran experience.
What You'll Do
- Drive the complete team strategy and direction in collaboration with the Director of DBQ Operations.
- Own the goals, metrics, and team structure for Client Review.
- Lead team supervisors for their teams’ success and own overall department success.
- Coach, mentor, and track each team’s performance ensuring alignment with departmental goals and company strategy.
- Oversee the overall performance management process across the department, including coaching conversations and addressing performance concerns.
- Serve as REE Medical’s Disability Profile Assessment owner and operational expert across Client Review.
- Own DPA content accuracy, quality, and workflow application to support complete and accurate case readiness.
- Drive process optimization and standardization across DPA requirements to improve throughput, Veteran experience, and operational efficiency.
- Own the inquiry process for Client Review and DPA related questions, ensuring timely feedback to teams.
- Manage and report on team compliance within REE Medical’s policies and procedures.
- Eliminate roadblocks across the teams.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required. Equivalent experience considered with 4+ years in a related operational or leadership position.
- Supervisory experience with a team of 4 or more.
- Experience within medical operations, healthcare administration, claims review, clinical documentation, or disability related services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change, shifting priorities, and evolving business needs.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to think strategically while maintaining a detail oriented, self-motivated, and well organized approach.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and leadership levels.
- Proven ability to meet goals, drive outcomes, and develop high performing teams.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple inputs, and comfortable working in ambiguous situations.
- Proactive and forward thinking, anticipating risks and opportunities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience communicating in remote first environments.
- Experience working in fast paced operational settings.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet goals; a positive mental attitude is essential.
Nice to Have
- Experience within the VA disability industry is a plus.
- Remote leadership experience is preferred, including coaching and developing staff in a virtual environment.
- Startup or early stage environment experience is a plus.
- Nursing or medical background is a plus.
