About the Role

Beyond Finance is looking for a Client Retention Specialist to help customers navigate financial hardship programs and achieve debt-free futures. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact, providing education and support to retain clients through a combination of empathy and practical guidance.

What You'll Do

  • Educate clients about the financial hardship debt program, ensuring they understand benefits, process, and options.
  • Display empathy and active listening to deescalate upset clients and address their financial concerns.
  • Use the CRM system to access client information and maintain accurate records of interactions and program progress.
  • Assess the client's current financial situation to determine appropriate options to become debt-free.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop customized solutions that align with their financial goals and encourage them to remain in the program.
  • Meet or exceed retention targets and earn commissions based on enabling clients to achieve financial objectives.
  • Provide a best-in-class customer service experience over the phone and through various communication tools.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in Retention, Sales, or Collections
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high call volumes
  • Resilient and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and deescalate client issues effectively
  • Tech savvy and proficiency with a Client Relationship Management system (CRM)
  • Strong customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with active listening
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Willingness to adapt to a changing environment and learn about new financial solutions.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
