Trucordia is hiring a Client Manager - Employee Benefits to serve as a strategic partner for our clients. In this role, you will manage key relationships, develop account plans, and ensure the delivery of exceptional service while driving growth for employee benefits accounts. You will act as an expert employer resource and collaborate closely with sales teams, co-brokers, and partners.
What You'll Do
- Manage annual benefit renewal activities including pricing, analysis, and illustration of proposed plans.
- Assist with benefit-related tasks such as renewal documentation, compliance items, and meeting preparation.
- Liaise with benefit carriers and vendors to resolve issues and monitor service levels.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, scheduling in-person meetings at least 4 times per year.
- Strategize with clients on sales and renewals by analyzing data and presenting options.
- Communicate industry changes including federal and state regulations and carrier guidelines.
- Oversee quoting and spreadsheet presentations; cross-sell other product lines upon renewal.
- Manage open enrollment meetings, address benefit inquiries, and assist members with paperwork.
- Complete new business and renewal carrier submissions and execute all internal procedures.
- Assist the client service team in resolving service issues.
- Handle or delegate client inquiries regarding claims, enrollments, and carrier procedures.
- Take direction from your Manager/Supervisor as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of proven account management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and project management.
- Advanced negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- NY / NJ Life & Health licenses required.
- Computer proficiency required – MS Office suite, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Nice to Have
- Delaware and/or Pennsylvania license.
- Salesforce CRM experience.

Compensation: $60,000-$90,000 commensurate with experience.
