About the Role

Backpack Healthcare is looking for a Client Implementation Specialist to ensure the successful launch of Sage's technology at senior living communities. You will be responsible for onboarding new clients, managing deployments, and leading training to drive adoption. This client-facing position requires extensive travel and combines technical troubleshooting with relationship-building.

What You'll Do

  • Onboard new clients, explaining what Sage is, how it works, and its unique value proposition.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholder contacts at each community.
  • Identify and nurture engaged users who will become Sage advocates.
  • Lead in-person and remote training sessions for both staff and management.
  • Work with teammates to prepare communities for implementation, including distributing system devices.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues for Sage users and clients.
  • Test and troubleshoot new features in preparation for community and staff training.

What We're Looking For

  • Must be based in either the CST, MST, or PST time zones.
  • Must reside within 45 minutes of a major airport.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience training and presenting to groups and in one-on-one settings.
  • A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Sufficiently technical to help non-technical users troubleshoot consumer electronics and software.
  • A self-starter comfortable working autonomously and running projects from start to finish.
  • Relentlessly resourceful mindset, thinking outside the box to solve complex problems.
  • Enough patience and follow-through to find the root cause of issues.
  • Expectation to travel up to 15 days per month across the continental US.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with varying timelines simultaneously.

Nice to Have

  • Prior customer support experience in a technology environment.
  • Experience in the Healthcare or HealthTech fields.

Team & Environment

This is a client-facing role on the Delivery team, requiring internal partnership with the Hardware, Product, and Client Success teams.

  • Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 + equity via stock options.
