Customer.io is hiring a Sales Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales leaders to assess, refine, and manage the full sales pipeline, ensuring clear visibility from initial outreach to deal closure.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, performance metrics, and reporting tools to monitor pipeline quality, conversion efficiency, forecast reliability, and sales team output.
  • Manage CRM workflows in Salesforce to guarantee precise data entry, ongoing data quality, and adherence to defined sales procedures and service-level agreements.
  • Deliver on-demand analytical support and audience segmentation using repeatable, scalable reporting frameworks.
  • Enhance lead and account distribution rules to align with market strategy and reduce response time to prospects.
  • Work with system administrators to implement and support Salesforce upgrades and sales technology integrations that meet evolving business demands.
  • Act as primary liaison for sales technology tools, overseeing functionality, resolving issues, and coordinating technical resolutions.
  • Assist in defining sales territories and assigning accounts in the CRM to ensure proper ownership and data integrity.
  • Perform regular reviews of sales processes to uncover automation potential and improve scalability within go-to-market operations.
  • Engage with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations teams to align lead distribution, territory design, and opportunity handling.
  • Support sales forecasting and pipeline oversight by maintaining consistent methods and ensuring data trustworthiness.
  • Lead coordination of initiatives impacting sales teams, such as new tool deployments or procedural updates.
  • Document and keep current all sales-related procedures to promote consistency and team-wide understanding.
