About the Role
The Client Finance Coordinator will manage financial processes related to client accounts in the advertising sector, including invoicing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Process client invoices accurately and on schedule
- Track and report revenue streams from advertising clients
- Collaborate with account management and operations teams to resolve billing issues
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments
- Maintain financial records with attention to detail and compliance
- Assist in monthly and quarterly financial closing activities
- Identify discrepancies in billing and initiate corrective actions
- Prepare financial summaries for internal stakeholders
- Support audits by providing accurate financial documentation
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures
- Coordinate with project teams to verify billing milestones
- Update financial databases with client billing terms and changes
- Reconcile client statements regularly
- Communicate with clients regarding invoice inquiries professionally
- Track contractual billing terms and flag deviations
- Generate reports on billing performance and trends
- Assist in the implementation of billing process improvements
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Work with legal and contracts teams on financial terms interpretation
- Provide data for forecasting and budgeting exercises
- Support integration of new clients into the billing system
- Monitor chargeback and credit processes
- Escalate unresolved financial issues to management
- Participate in cross-training for team coverage
