Pineapple Contracts is hiring a Client Account Executive - West Coast

About the Role

Pineapple Contracts designs furniture that supports calm, safety, and wellbeing—combining functionality, sustainability, and great design. We are looking for a Client Account Executive to support our USA-based sales team and take ownership of responsibilities that drive business growth on the West Coast.

What You'll Do

  • Develop relationships with key customers via email and telephone to establish rapport and set up meetings for Sales Representatives.
  • Proactively generate new business and leads through outbound sales calls to prospective customers.
  • Spend a minimum of four hours on the phone daily (two hours in the morning, two in the afternoon).
  • Make contact with potential customers through calling, direct mail, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Understand our product ranges, apply them to customer needs, and respond efficiently with a plan to meet these needs.
  • Qualify leads and take them through the sales process.
  • Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager on larger opportunities.
  • Prepare customized quotes for prospective and existing customers.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, such as growth areas and trends.
  • Research and seek out the appropriate contact within an organization.
  • Consistently and in detail use our CRM system to track and manage all sales activities and pipeline opportunities.
  • Attend meetings and exhibitions when appropriate.
  • Attend our Los Angeles showroom 2–3 times per month to meet prospective customers and present products in person.
  • Attend training once a quarter at our Michigan office.
  • Cover for team members as required with administrative support tasks.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks or projects to support the wider team as directed.

What We're Looking For

  • Must be located within reasonable distance of the Greater Los Angeles showroom for occasional in-person meetings.

Team & Environment

You will support our USA-based sales team and collaborate with Area Sales Representatives and the Area Sales Manager.

Work Mode

This is a hybrid role based remotely, with activities centered in Los Angeles.
