Responsibilities
- Safely operates tanker, semi, van, and bulk trucks to deliver products on time and in compliance with all applicable laws.
- Connects and disconnects trailers and manages pumping systems, valves, and hoses to transfer liquids efficiently.
- Secures all equipment, hoses, and materials using approved methods such as straps and tie-downs.
- Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any defects or damage immediately.
- Maintains cleanliness and mechanical condition of vehicles and promptly reports maintenance concerns.
- Delivers high-quality service by ensuring accurate, timely deliveries and tracking performance metrics to address potential issues.
- Acts as a professional representative of the company when interacting with customers, the public, and industry partners.
- Collaborates with dispatch, management, and team members to fulfill customer needs and resolve operational concerns.
- Builds and maintains cooperative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support service goals.
- Completes all required documentation, logs, and records in accordance with company, state, and federal regulations.
- Follows strict safety protocols, uses personal protective equipment, and reports any safety or security incidents promptly.
- Protects sensitive information by ensuring secure handling and storage of data.
- Supports warehouse operations as needed, including loading and unloading cargo using hand trucks, forklifts, or pallet jacks.
- Organizes tasks and coordinates with others to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Current DOT Medical Certificate at time of hire
- Driving record free of major violations
- Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screening and background investigation

- Frequent sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, climbing stairs, and ladder use are required.
- Regular lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of heavy materials is part of daily duties.
- Work occurs in both indoor and outdoor environments with potential exposure to extreme temperatures, weather, fumes, chemicals, and noise.
- Must maintain a valid DOT Medical Card throughout employment.
- As of November 1, 2025, Sunoco LP has completed its acquisition of Parkland Corporation.
- Final candidates must complete a confidential pre-employment background check, which may include verification of education, criminal history, credit, drug and alcohol tests, and fitness for duty assessment.
