Nngroup is hiring a Claims Technician to manage Life and Accident claims (Individual and Group). This role ensures rigorous, agile, and empathetic claims processing, prioritizing client experience and regulatory compliance. You will join a stable company within the NN Group, with over 40 years of presence in Spain.
What You'll Do
- Manage the entire claim lifecycle from opening to closure (payment, rejection, or filing), complying with policy terms, regulations, and SLAs.
- Review key documentation and validate its completeness and coherence.
- Perform technical and contractual analysis of coverages, exclusions, waiting periods, and sums insured; assess grounds for rejection when applicable.
- Identify beneficiaries and heirs, managing complex cases with rigor and sensitivity.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients, beneficiaries, and intermediaries regarding claim status, requirements, and resolution.
- Coordinate with Medical, Legal, Finance, and external providers; prepare claim statements and support out-of-court and litigation processes.
- Prevent and detect fraud by identifying indicators and escalating to specialized areas.
- Drive continuous improvement by proposing digitalization/automation, ensuring traceability, and monitoring deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- University degree.
- 3–5 years of experience in Life and Accident claims processing.
- Strong command of legal and contractual documentation, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive cases.
- Customer orientation, commitment to compliance, and focus on process improvement.
