Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Representative to analyze and process low to mid-level auto physical damage claims, with a focus on commercial trucking. In this remote role, you will develop action plans to meet deadlines, identify subrogation opportunities, and communicate directly with clients.

What You'll Do

Process auto property damage claims; assess damage, make payments, and ensure claim files are properly documented and coded.
Develop and maintain action plans to ensure state required contract deadlines are met.
Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities; secure and dispose of salvage.
Communicate claim action and processing with insured, client, and agent or broker when appropriate.
Maintain professional client relations.
Perform coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all claims assignments.
Support the organization's quality program(s).
Travel as required.

What We're Looking For

Three (3) years of personal line or commercial line auto physical damage claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of construction basics.
Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates, total loss evaluations, and related expenses to effectively negotiate claims.
Knowledge of total loss processing, State salvage forms and title requirements.
Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
Analytical and interpretive skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to meet or exceed Service Expectations.
Credit security clearance, confirmed via a background credit check.

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Commercial auto claims experience.
Current New York adjuster's license.
Property estimating software experience.
