Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Representative to analyze and process low to mid-level auto physical damage claims, with a focus on commercial trucking. In this remote role, you will develop action plans to meet deadlines, identify subrogation opportunities, and communicate directly with clients.
What You'll Do
- Process auto property damage claims; assess damage, make payments, and ensure claim files are properly documented and coded.
- Develop and maintain action plans to ensure state required contract deadlines are met.
- Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities; secure and dispose of salvage.
- Communicate claim action and processing with insured, client, and agent or broker when appropriate.
- Maintain professional client relations.
- Perform coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all claims assignments.
- Support the organization's quality program(s).
- Travel as required.
What We're Looking For
- Three (3) years of personal line or commercial line auto physical damage claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of construction basics.
- Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
- Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates, total loss evaluations, and related expenses to effectively negotiate claims.
- Knowledge of total loss processing, State salvage forms and title requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
- Analytical and interpretive skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to meet or exceed Service Expectations.
- Credit security clearance, confirmed via a background credit check.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Commercial auto claims experience.
- Current New York adjuster's license.
- Property estimating software experience.

- Compensation: $55,000
