Sedgwick was looking for a Claims Representative, Auto | Commercial Trucking | Remote

Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Representative to analyze and process low to mid-level auto physical damage claims, with a focus on commercial trucking. In this remote role, you will develop action plans to meet deadlines, identify subrogation opportunities, and communicate directly with clients.

What You'll Do

  • Process auto property damage claims; assess damage, make payments, and ensure claim files are properly documented and coded.
  • Develop and maintain action plans to ensure state required contract deadlines are met.
  • Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities; secure and dispose of salvage.
  • Communicate claim action and processing with insured, client, and agent or broker when appropriate.
  • Maintain professional client relations.
  • Perform coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all claims assignments.
  • Support the organization's quality program(s).
  • Travel as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Three (3) years of personal line or commercial line auto physical damage claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of construction basics.
  • Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
  • Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates, total loss evaluations, and related expenses to effectively negotiate claims.
  • Knowledge of total loss processing, State salvage forms and title requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet or exceed Service Expectations.
  • Credit security clearance, confirmed via a background credit check.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Commercial auto claims experience.
  • Current New York adjuster's license.
  • Property estimating software experience.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation: $55,000
