Desjardins Insurance General is hiring a Claims Advisor for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of high-complexity property insurance claims alongside medium-complexity accident benefit and bodily injury claims. Your focus will be on thorough investigation and fair settlement to deliver excellent client service.
What You'll Do
- Conduct investigations and inspections to assess damage, estimate costs and market value, and produce detailed reports to determine settlement amounts.
- Analyze medical, financial, and job information to determine benefit eligibility based on statutory criteria.
- Settle claims in accordance with company standards, policies, and contract terms, meeting deadlines to ensure client satisfaction and avoid penalties.
- Negotiate with all involved parties to ensure smooth claims processing.
- Advise and assist clients, represent Desjardins professionally, and enter the organization into important client agreements.
What We're Looking For
- A college diploma in a related field.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of French is required.
