Dexcom Corporation was looking for a Sr Staff Sales Trainer

Dexcom Corporation is looking for a Sr Staff Sales Trainer based in Tokyo to shape the success of our Japan sales teams and lead impactful training initiatives. You will deliver comprehensive sales training programs, provide coaching, and align training with business strategies, joining a global team driven by ambitious, passionate people.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver comprehensive new hire and advanced sales training programs via in-person and virtual formats.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to sales representatives to enhance performance and skill development.
  • Collaborate with Japan sales leaders and cross-functional teams to align training initiatives with national and regional business strategies.
  • Assess training needs specific to the Japanese market, update curriculum, and design localized training plans.
  • Lead the planning and execution of training-related sales meetings, and contribute to global events as needed.
  • Support onboarding, product launches, and other key sales enablement initiatives.
  • Partner with the global training team to manage and localize content within the company’s Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Manage training-related vendor relationships and oversee training-related budgets and resources for Japan.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in sales training and program design within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Minimum 13 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Familiarity with the Japanese healthcare market.
  • Strong coaching and facilitation skills, with a deep understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English (business-level proficiency required).
  • Positive energy, organizational efficiency, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible and willing to work evenings or weekends to support training events when needed.
  • Up to 50% travel, primarily within Japan.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the diabetes field.
  • Certifications such as DISC, Situational Leadership, or GROW Coaching.
