Pfizer is looking for a Civil or Environmental Engineer specializing in wastewater to join its infrastructure team. You will support the full lifecycle of water and wastewater projects, from planning through construction, and develop creative solutions for treatment and conveyance challenges.
What You'll Do
- Support the planning, design, and construction of water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping, distribution, storage, or conveyance projects.
- Develop creative solutions to complex water and wastewater treatment and conveyance challenges.
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver innovative project solutions.
- Build and strengthen client relationships in collaboration with experienced project managers.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
- Experience in the design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial drinking water or wastewater treatment projects.
- Knowledge of water / wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and regulations.
Nice to Have
- Six (6) years of experience designing and/or managing wastewater treatment or conveyance projects.
- Six (6) years of experience designing and/or managing drinking water projects, including treatment, wells and pumphouses, storage facilities, booster stations, and distribution systems.
- Knowledge of regional water and wastewater issues and familiarity with the municipal government client base.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to scope and budget new drinking and wastewater facility projects and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
