The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is hiring an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a position in Little Rock. You will treat a general physical therapy population, including orthopaedic and spine conditions, by providing individualized evaluations, formulating care plans, and delivering evidence-based treatments. This role is part of an organization dedicated to improving patient care and the lives of Arkansans.
What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive patient examinations using appropriate tests and formulate an individualized plan of care.
- Provide evidence-based quality patient treatments, monitor physiological status, and deliver individualized patient education.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and education sessions accurately according to regulatory policies.
- Serve as a clinical instructor or mentor and provide education regarding physical therapy to other disciplines and the community.
- Participate in multidisciplinary communication, including patient care discussions and department meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2002, a Master’s degree if graduated prior to 2016, or a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- A current Arkansas Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain the license within 1 month of hire.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to pass state abuse registry checks, a drug screen, submit to a TB skin test, and provide required immunizations.
Nice to Have
- 2 years of experience in Physical Therapy.
- Certifications such as OCS, CSCS, or DN Certified.
