Responsibilities
- Guide project teams in executing preliminary engineering, detailed design, and cost estimation for transportation initiatives.
- Lead or support the design of intricate roadways and transportation systems requiring innovative approaches, including bike lanes, sidewalks, roundabouts, trails, and multimodal networks.
- Execute engineering tasks such as street and highway layout, alignment planning, roundabout development, grading, 3D modeling, curb ramp design, signage, pavement markings, traffic control, and stormwater systems.
- Utilize design software platforms such as MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D to produce accurate and efficient designs.
- Oversee proposal development in response to client requests, including defining project scope, timelines, and financial estimates.
- Ensure all project outputs meet quality benchmarks and are delivered within established schedules, budgets, and specifications.
- Coordinate and support collaboration among internal departments and client-facing multidisciplinary groups.
- Cultivate new and existing client and partner relationships to generate future project opportunities.
- Engage actively in industry groups, professional associations, and technical events through presentations, committee roles, or conference participation.

- Must be willing and able to travel to client locations 5-10% of the time.
- Applicants must currently hold valid work authorization in the United States.
- Eligible candidates may receive a signing bonus of up to $5,000, depending on experience and role fit.
- Signing bonus is subject to a 12-month service requirement; early departure triggers repayment obligation.
