About the Role
The selected candidate will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, and support of Citrix-based virtual desktop and application delivery solutions. This includes maintaining system reliability, implementing security standards, and supporting large-scale deployments across enterprise networks.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments
- Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies
- Support virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) operations
- Troubleshoot Citrix delivery issues across networks
- Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure service continuity
- Implement and manage Citrix ADC (formerly NetScaler)
- Configure and maintain Citrix StoreFront and Director
- Deploy and support Citrix Workspace
- Manage user profiles and session policies
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness
- Perform regular system updates and patching
- Document configurations and operational procedures
- Integrate Citrix with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
- Support integration with Microsoft Azure and cloud platforms
- Respond to incidents and resolve escalated technical issues
- Participate in capacity planning and system design
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies
- Assist in onboarding new business units to virtualization platforms
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members
- Maintain accurate system inventory and licensing records
