Customer Facing experience (ability to interface and interact with customers successfully).
Previous experience in complex network troubleshooting or TAC-style experience.
3 - 8 years of experience with Catalyst 8ks, ASRs and ISR.
Good understanding and experience with Cisco IOS-XE and IOS-XR.
Very good understanding and experience on L2 switching, L3 routing and routing protocols (specifically OSPF and BGP).
Understanding and experience with VPNs (IPsec, DMVPN, ISAKMP, IKE, etc) and MPLS.
Understanding of other protocols and features such as NAT, QoS, SNMP, TACACs, etc.
Basic Programming/Scripting Skill (preferably Python).
Basic working knowledge in yang models, configuration management, APIs and operational models.
Strong Written and Verbal skills.
Typically requires bachelors or masters along with 3-5 yrs of related experience for Grade 8 and 8-10 yrs of related experience for Grade 10.

Some degree of programming/Scripting, orchestration and automation skills (preferably Python, Ansible, Terraform).
Good understanding of data models, various data formats such as YAML, JSON and XML and of APIs.
Experience in large-scale enterprise network deployments.

Proficient with Industry Test Tools; Spirent or Ixia preferred.
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and formal presentation).
