What You'll Do
Deliver full-spectrum neurological care to children across both outpatient and inpatient settings, serving a regional pediatric population exceeding 300,000. Provide expert consultations in coordination with pediatric subspecialists and support clinical decision-making within a multidisciplinary care model. Participate in shared call coverage, primarily offering remote consultative support during evenings and weekends. Work closely with pediatric hospitalists and intensivists to ensure seamless, high-quality care delivery.
Utilize on-site EEG and video EEG monitoring services supported by dedicated inpatient technicians. Contribute to medical education through involvement in pediatrics and neurology residency programs, with opportunities to engage in academic initiatives aligned with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Neurology
- Proven ability to deliver both outpatient and inpatient neurological services
- Willingness to participate in shared call responsibilities, including remote consultative coverage

Work Environment
This is an onsite position based in Roanoke, Virginia, within a physician-led, academically oriented health system committed to advancing patient care through education and innovation. While primary duties are site-based, call coverage is conducted remotely, allowing flexibility during off-hours.
