Lead the Evolution of People Strategy in a Growing Property Management Organization
This role is central to shaping the human capital foundation of a rapidly expanding property management platform. As Chief People Officer, you will design and implement scalable HR systems that align with operational goals and support long-term growth. You will serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team, ensuring people initiatives directly contribute to performance, compliance, and leadership capability across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Chief Operating Officer to integrate people strategy with operational execution and expansion goals
- Design and lead a centralized talent acquisition function to meet hiring demands at both corporate and property levels
- Develop and refine recruiting processes, performance metrics, and reporting structures to improve hiring speed and quality
- Lead workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and organizational design in collaboration with operations leaders
- Oversee all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, compliance, and risk
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies across diverse locations and operational units
- Design and implement leadership development, onboarding, and professional growth programs tailored to property management teams
- Manage relationships with external HR partners, including Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) and offshore support teams
- Lead the evaluation and deployment of HR technologies that enhance scalability and operational efficiency
- Advise senior leaders on complex employee issues, organizational change, and succession planning
Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources, with demonstrated success in property management, real estate, or multi-site service environments
- Proven track record leading both HR operations and talent acquisition functions
- Experience building or scaling centralized recruiting teams in distributed organizations
- Background managing offshore or remote HR and recruiting resources
- Familiarity with PEO structures and compliance frameworks
- SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
