About the Role

Shape the future of restaurant expansion in Houston as the Market Launch Operations Leader, responsible for orchestrating end-to-end openings and setting new locations up for long-term success. This role is central to scaling operations with precision, ensuring every new site meets high standards for service, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and refine new restaurant opening (NRO) strategies that support scalable growth and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination with operations, supply chain, marketing, training, and development teams to align on launch timelines and deliverables.
  • Manage NRO project plans, including budgets, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure on-time and on-budget execution.
  • Anticipate and resolve operational risks before and during openings to maintain momentum and quality.
  • Develop and maintain NRO playbooks, incorporating lessons learned to improve consistency and performance across markets.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor NRO teams, fostering a culture rooted in accountability, innovation, and guest focus.
  • Oversee the development of training curricula for managers and staff to ensure operational readiness at launch.
  • Collaborate with regional leaders to onboard site teams and ensure smooth transitions into operations.
  • Monitor post-launch KPIs, provide field support, and implement corrective actions to optimize performance.
  • Ensure supply chain readiness, including timely delivery of equipment, ingredients, and uniforms.
  • Establish quality control systems to uphold brand standards across all touchpoints.
  • Analyze performance data and deliver insights to improve future launch strategies.
  • Manage pre-opening expenditures and identify cost efficiencies without sacrificing quality.
  • Deliver regular operational and financial reports to leadership, highlighting progress and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years in restaurant, food service, or hospitality operations.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing multi-location rollouts or new unit expansions.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing complex operational initiatives in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong project management background with the ability to lead multiple concurrent openings.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Deep knowledge of food safety regulations, customer service protocols, and back-of-house workflows.
  • Financial proficiency in budget management, forecasting, and cost optimization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (50–70%) to support openings across various regions.

Compensation & Benefits

Offers a competitive salary ranging from $107,000 to $123,000 annually, with equity participation and 401K plan access. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage options are available. The role includes structured training and leadership development programs to support career growth. Extensive travel is required, with primary based in Houston, Texas.
