Key Responsibilities
- Drive quarterly planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of engineering initiatives across global teams.
- Champion engineering excellence by enforcing standards, monitoring system performance, and integrating risk management into development roadmaps.
- Strengthen agile practices across delivery teams and collaborate with centers of excellence to promote modern software development methods.
- Oversee budget management with a focus on cost efficiency and strategic investment in technology and talent.
- Ensure product reliability through effective on-call structures, alerting systems, and run book maintenance aligned with service level objectives.
- Align engineering efforts with product strategy and corporate objectives, ensuring technical work supports broader business goals.
- Support adoption of company-wide engineering standards and lead reporting on technical progress to stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of experimentation while maintaining delivery commitments, encouraging teams to explore new technologies and workflows.
- Lead talent development, performance management, and succession planning across direct and indirect reports.
- Promote knowledge sharing, onboarding improvements, and continuous learning to strengthen team collaboration and capability.

Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 7 years leading large engineering organizations (150+ engineers) across distributed locations.
- Proven track record scaling web-based systems and designing data-intensive architectures.
- Deep technical expertise combined with strong people leadership and organizational development skills.
- Experience managing complex legacy environments while delivering new, innovative platforms.
- Customer-focused mindset with data-informed decision-making and a bias for action.
- Skilled in stakeholder communication, conflict resolution, and cross-functional alignment.
