About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide security programs
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures
- Oversee incident response planning and execution during security events
- Manage third-party risk through vendor assessments and audits
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and legal requirements
- Conduct regular risk assessments and prioritize remediation efforts
- Guide security architecture for cloud and on-premise environments
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security practices
- Lead security awareness training and promote a culture of vigilance
- Monitor emerging threats and adapt defenses accordingly
- Direct penetration testing and vulnerability management initiatives
- Maintain relationships with external security partners and agencies
- Oversee data protection strategies including encryption and access controls
- Ensure secure software development lifecycle practices are followed
- Report security posture and key metrics to executive leadership
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning
- Evaluate and deploy security tools and monitoring systems
- Manage identity and access management frameworks
- Lead audits and coordinate responses to findings
- Advocate for security investment and resource allocation
- Stay current with evolving cybersecurity regulations and standards
- Foster partnerships across departments to embed security by design
- Oversee certification and accreditation processes
