Responsibilities
- Create and implement a comprehensive security strategy that supports logistics functions, supply chain infrastructure, and customer obligations
- Direct security governance, enterprise-wide risk oversight, SOX IT general controls compliance, and the development of security policies
- Provide leadership in designing secure technology architectures across cloud platforms, networks, and software applications
- Manage programs for identifying vulnerabilities and continuously monitoring security across corporate and operational systems to reduce risk
- Lead cyber incident response activities, ensuring fast detection, coordinated resolution, clear communication, and minimal impact on operations
- Enhance defenses against cyber threats that could disrupt supply chain operations, including protection of operational technology, IoT devices, telematics, and fleet management systems
- Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing global security team spanning enterprise and operational environments
- Serve as the security representative in major technology initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, digital transformation, and system modernization
- Assess and manage cybersecurity risks associated with third-party partners including carriers, transportation providers, third-party logistics firms, and technology suppliers
- Report regularly to senior executives and the Board on security status, operational risks, and compliance matters
- Perform additional duties as necessary to support changing business requirements
