About the Role
The position involves providing technical leadership and engineering support to ensure successful delivery of engineering projects. The candidate will work closely with engineering teams, program managers, and clients to maintain system performance, compliance, and innovation throughout project lifecycles.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the oversight of engineering operations and technical project execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements
- Support the development and review of engineering designs and documentation
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation planning for engineering systems
- Provide technical guidance during system integration and testing phases
- Track engineering performance metrics and recommend process improvements
- Facilitate communication between engineering staff and program leadership
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and project briefings
- Support configuration management and change control processes
- Participate in design reviews and technical audits
- Help coordinate engineering schedules and resource allocation
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance procedures
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across systems and subsystems
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices
- Support lifecycle management of engineering systems and components
- Assist in the evaluation of new technologies and tools
- Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation
- Coordinate with external partners and subcontractors on technical deliverables
- Support root cause analysis for system failures or performance gaps
