Framestore is looking for a Chicago Launchpad Intern in Compositing for 2026. This is a 4-month paid internship designed to develop your compositing skills in a professional VFX production environment. You will work alongside experienced artists, receive mentorship, and contribute to real projects.
What You'll Do
- Work in the award-winning Compositing team on production work.
- Receive instruction and regular reviews of your work from a dedicated mentor.
- Participate in the day-to-day workings of the Compositing team.
- Attend project reviews and take creative briefings.
What We're Looking For
- A working knowledge of Nuke or Flame.
- A reel showing a wide range of shots and a creative eye.
- A pro-active and collaborative work ethic.
- A strong eye for detail, composition, color, and lighting.
- Knowledge of practical lighting for photography.
- A working knowledge of the overall VFX pipeline.
- Current work authorization for the USA.
- Availability to work 40 hours a week.
