Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service in alignment with the company's mission to deliver a superior fresh shopping experience.
- Work closely with store leadership and retail experts to implement strategies that improve performance and meet department targets.
- Foster a positive, engaged team environment through individual coaching and routine team meetings focused on goal setting, recognition, learning, and open communication.
- Lead team development by managing hiring, training, coaching, evaluations, recognition programs, and professional growth, while upholding confidentiality.
- Communicate and reinforce organizational policies and procedures from management updates, policy documents, handbooks, and official directives to ensure consistent adherence.
- Manage daily department functions, including inventory control, ordering, product upkeep, quality assurance, stock rotation, loss prevention, display standards, billing, staffing schedules, and payroll tasks.
- Take part in rotating management shifts as Manager on Duty, covering store opening and closing procedures and responding to emergency alarms when necessary.
- Ensure full compliance with all food safety, health, safety protocols, and legal regulations.
- Support broader store objectives by taking on additional duties as needed.
